What to expect on workshops

Essential Nature Yoga Workshops are a great way to experience our teachings prior to attending a retreat. Or for those who enjoy our retreats they are an opportunity to reconnect with us and the practices.

Workshops include a combination of hatha yoga (asana/physical practice and pranayama/breath work), meditation, chanting and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation).

These sessions can take place either online or in person.

If you would like us to organise additional workshops for you or your students please get in touch.

Exploring Surya Namaskara

Sunrise Levels.jpg

Surya Namaskara is often seen as a cornerstone of traditional yoga practice. It can sometimes feel inaccessible to some students, or over time the practice can become stale.

In these workshop we will explore each of the postures within the Surya Namaskara sequence, making them increasingly accessible and meaningful. We will develop the energetic aspects of the practice by discovering the impact of focusing on the chakras (energy centres) as we move and the impact of introducing mantra into the practice. Simple visualisation will be used to enhance the overall accessibility and experience of this timeless practice.

These workshops, led by Nickie (Tulsi) are appropriate for students of all levels of experience.  The days will comprise asana, pranayama, mantra and yoga nidra practices.
